About Bongwe:
Bongwe is the Chewa (a tribe which lives in the Eastern Province of Zambia and in neighbouring Malawi) name for a Baboon. In African mythology animals have been used to illustrate morality in the form of fables.
In the stories Bongwe is portrayed as a naughty, cunning, crafty and boastful animal. Bongwe lives in the Kingdom of Njase with a multitude of other animals.
